CornerStone Foundation
Transforming lives through education, care, and faith.
Empowering women in Ezbet El-Nakhl since 2008.
Our Story
Cornerstone Foundation for Community Development is a non-profit organization registered in 2008, dedicated to serve underprivileged communities in the poor area of garbage collectors in Ezbet El-Nakhl and surrounding areas.
Cornerstone was created in response to the significant social and economic challenges faced by residents, including poverty, limited access to education, and lack of health awareness.
Through years of field work, community visits, surveys and direct engagement with families; the organization has developed a deep understanding of local needs. It provides integrated support programs focused on education, family development, healthcare, and spiritual growth—aiming to empower individuals, specially girls and women and build stronger, more stable communities.
Our Mission
Empowering vulnerable families by providing sustainable support that addresses their educational, social, health, and spiritual needs.
We work to:
- Ensure access to quality education for children and young youth.
- Support women and families through awareness, coaching, and economic empowerment.
- Improve health conditions through medical assistance and awareness.
- Strengthen biblical and spiritual understanding and values within the community.
- Through practical programs, continuous follow-up, and community engagement, we aim to create real and lasting change in people’s lives.
Our Vision
Building a strong, aware, and empowered community where individuals are educated, healthy, spiritually grounded, and capable of shaping a better future for themselves and their familiesa
We aspire to raise a generation that is confident, productive, and connected-able to overcome challenges and contribute positively to society.
